During my stay at Gokulam Home Stay, I was greeted by a warm host and a comfortable bed in a clean, yet compact room. The outside view was pleasant, offering a glimpse of the surrounding natural beauty. While the website had promised certain amenities that were lacking, the personal touch of the owner made up for it.Despite the small room, I appreciated the cleanliness and the effort to make us feel at home. The peaceful atmosphere and scenic views were refreshing, providing a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The proximity to Munnar, though slightly off the beaten path, was a welcome respite from the crowded junction.However, the lack of certain facilities can be a drawback for families with young children. For digital nomads like myself, the value lies in the tranquility and simplicity of the surroundings. The attentive owner and the serene ambiance make Gokulam Home Stay a decent choice for those seeking a quiet retreat without breaking the bank.
